Dirty Projectors 'Stillness Is The Move' video
My album of the year (so far) is Dirty Projectors 'Bitte Orca'. This is the second (maybe first, depending on my mood) best song on the album:

Real Estate 'Green River' Pitchfork review
Nice Pitchfork review of 'Green River', the b-side to the upcoming single, where they described it as "one of the more accomplished individual tracks so far from the cluster of bands trafficking in this nascent lo-fi beach-pop aesthetic."

Banjo or Freakout mixtape and video
Banjo or Freakout, ever the industrialist (is that what I mean?), has made a mixtape for the lovely people of Allez Allez (they who made that spectacular 'Mr No' remix). You can get the mixtape HERE. It includes tracks by Silver Apples, Neu!, The Bug, Chrome (who we nicked our name from), Dilla, Minor Threat etc etc.
There's also a video for one of the tracks on the EP, 'This City Is A Fake', on his blog, and below:
WOODS - 'To Clean' MP3
WOODS, who release 'To Clean' as a 7" on Half Machine Records later in the year (with exclusive vinyl only b-side "Rain On, live on WVKR'), have given away the track on RCRD LBL, click here to download it.
'To Clean' is also available on the excellent new album 'Songs of Shame'

Banjo or Freakout remixes - downloads
When the Banjo or Freakout 12" was available to pre-order from us, Rough Trade and a couple of other UK indie stores we gave away a cdr of remixes by some of our favourite remixers. All tackled previous single 'Mr No'.
Allez Allez turning in a 8 minute Kompakt-esque techno wonder, with Phaseone (recent remixer of Animal Collective among others) and Coma turned the track in to both ambient and menacing at the same time. Ash Cayon (also known as Banjo's live drummer and one half of Gentle Friendly, Daniel Boyle) created an intense psych rumble. With Radiant Dragon, Vincent Oliver and Radio Proof all doing the track proud (by fucking with it and turning it in to something else all together).
Anyway, as most people don't shop in Rough Trade or with us, not everyone got hold of these mixes. So here they are to download, give away, play in clubs/ walkman's/ iPod's/ etc.
Don't say I never give you anything.
